Must See Things At Griffith Observatory
Griffith Observatory is a must-see when you visit Los Angeles!
So here's what you need to know before you go.
Parking:
-$4 an hour if you park at the Observatory
-Street park and walk up if you want to save some money!
Observatory Info:
-The Observatory is closed on Mondays.
Shows:
-The Observatory has a Planetarium. You'll have to book tickets inside the Observatory. It's a great place to bring kids and family.
Levels:
-There are two levels at Griffith, make sure you visit the bottom to see more about the planets.
Hiking:
-You can hike to the Hollywood sign from Griffith. There's a trail located near the parking lot. You'll see wildlife on the trail ranging from snakes to vultures! There are also coyotes at the park!
Bathrooms:
There are exterior and interior bathrooms at Griffith. If you go on the closed days, you can still visit the exterior of the Observatory and use the restrooms.
Cafe:
There's a little cafe at Griffith called the TrailHead cafe. You can get pies, coffees, and teas from it while your kids play in the space next to it.
Pictures:
Take photos next to the exterior restroom for the best views of the Hollywood Sign. You can also go on the second exterior floor of Griffith Observatory and take photos of the sign.
